The Oak Group Initiative is a beacon of hope and transformation for millennials and married couples seeking to rediscover God’s presence, purpose, and process in the tapestry of their everyday lives. We do this through public speaking, global retreats, and digital content designed to bring lasting and holistic transformation.

ABOUT THE LEWIS'

We’re Grant and Ashley Lewis, the hearts behind The Oak Group Initiative. Our commitment to this work comes from nineteen years of shared life and over a decade of serving, counseling, and coaching, especially among millennials and married couples. What we share isn’t just expertise; it’s the fruit of our own journey. The passion that fuels our mission flows through every part of our lives, our marriage, and our work with others.

After a lengthy pause to focus on personal growth, family and business, we have started sensing that it is time to start helping others again in a more intentional way. We believe that now, perhaps more than ever, there's a need to remove the chains of oppression and help millennials live with purpose, courage, and the promise of fruitful marriages and families.

Flowing from this rooted life, our philanthropic community endeavours bring healing to the brokenhearted, restoration to families, and practical care to the poor, the widow, and the forgotten—so that every home & family can flourish and become a living expression of God’s goodness.

SOME PAST EVENTS AND LIVES IMPACTED OVER THE YEARS...

YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT:

Grant and Ashley have a "proven track record" of making a difference in many lives. Each summer for five consecutive years, they conducted week long young leader intensives in historical Moravian Falls, North Carolina. Lifelong friendships blossomed and individuals emerged with newfound clarity, purpose, and courage to embrace their fullest potential and true selves.

MILLENNIAL LEADERS RETREAT

APPLE HILL LODGE, MORAVIAN FALLS

MOROCCO TRIP:

A trip that was birthed out of a long time mentorship and friendship brought the Lewis' to Morocco. They spent time refreshing and encouraging leaders and ex-pats in homes and small group gatherings. It was a life changing experience!

Grant and Ashley have a connection with Dallas that birthed out of a long term, mentorship, and friendship. They have visited Dallas and have inspired leaders' lives there on several occasions. Many young people were encouraged and positively impacted through these gatherings as they re-discovered their purpose in life. They saw lives touched physically, spiritually, and emotionally.

The Lewis' had the privilege of speaking at a local gathering in Lima, Peru as well as to the leadership teams locally. People were encouraged, equipped, and hearts were healed. It was a beautiful and powerful time.

This was one of Grant & Ashley's most memorable trips from speaking at local schools, gatherings, and to various leadership groups. They took two other friends on this trip which was very special! Lives were deeply touched and impacted, including ours.

SOUTH FLORIDA LEADERS:

South Florida is the place where the Lewis' have had the honor to partner with and pour into countless lives over the past eighteen years. From leadership teams, the local community, and within many relational dynamics. They have been able to impact hundreds of lives in a impactful way over the years.

In addition, they both invested over ten years with a local church in Pompano Beach in various staff role positions from giving oversight in a senior leadership role, to mentoring millennials, teaching in the main services, helping facilitate home fellowship groups, healing rooms oversight, finance and administration, missions oversight, and young leaders retreat intensives. Many of those relationships are still very strong today.
