A CALL BACK TO CAPE TOWN

Dear Friends,

As we prepare to embark on a heartfelt journey back to Cape Town, South Africa, also Grant's hometown for the first 21 years of his life. We are reminded of the power of dreams turning into reality. This winter, our family of five is making preparations to return to a city that, despite its stunning beauty, grapples with significant challenges.

Our mission is clear: to educate, to bring about lasting transformation, as well as build sustainable partnerships that will foster growth and hope within the local churches, local businesses, and the local communities at large.

This journey is not just a return to a place Grant calls, "home"; it's a fulfillment of a vision he has nurtured for the last 21 years—to contribute meaningfully to the lives of those in his home country as one of several regions we feel called to serve and partner with.

Our Purpose for Cape Town Involves:

Empowering The Local Church

By partnering with local churches and their leadership teams, we aim to share practical yet inspired insights as well as additional resources that would stand to strengthen their existing efforts and make a lasting impact. We will be speaking at two local churches, refreshing and encouraging both the leadership teams as well as their local congregations. Those relationships will continue to be fostered and nurtured even when we are not together in person.

Empowering Local Para-Ministries

There are local men and women in Cape Town who have stepped up to help reform those negatively impacted by a life given to gangsterism, violence, and poverty. They are the "boots on the ground" ministries we look to come alongside, encourage, and support with financial and spiritual resources to see sustained transformation of the people and the local land take place. We plan to partner with a handful of local para-ministries in Cape Town.

Educating The Underprivileged

South Africa has an unemployment rate of 33.5% which is particularly high for a nation. In Q1 of 2024, the youth unemployment rate was 59.7% leading to all forms of darkness, poverty and destruction. To help bring impact to this, we hope to educate both reformed gangsters and underprivileged millennials via our strategic partnership with New Oaks College which is a government accredited, online university based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Through our fundraising initiatives we look to provide 100 scholarships as well as ongoing online coaching for these world changers to rediscover God's presence, purpose and process in and through their lives. We will also be creating digital content that focuses on practical life and business skills as well as emotional, physical, and spiritual health. We believe these are essential to bring about sustained change and transformation.

Our Fundraising Goal:

To see the following Vision Now a reality, we look to raise $30,000.

This amount will help to cover all costs associated with our mission, including (but not limited to):

- Travel expenses (we have already covered the majority of these expenses personally)

- Local church and para-ministry donations, relationship building, and resources

- Scholarships and additional tools for content creation for at least 100 students

How You Can Partner:

Financial Tax Deductible Donations

Your financial support is crucial. Whether large or small, every contribution helps us reach our $30,000 goal. Would you consider partner with us by making a tax deductible investment to make this vision a reality?

Prayer and Encouragement

We cherish your prayers for our family and the success of our trip coming forth both practically and spiritually. Your words of encouragement mean the world to us as well.

Spread the Word

By sharing our vision and purpose with others you think would connect with our vision and heart, you help us extend our reach and impact.

Contributing to our vision is more than a "donation"—it's an investment in the future of Cape Town, South Africa and the regions mentioned in Vision Future. Together, we can bring about lasting change, supporting the communities facing their challenges, and create long term transformation and impact.

Our departure this winter marks the beginning of a significant chapter in our lives and the lives of those we aim to serve in Cape Town and globally. With your support, we can turn our collective vision into practical action that will have a lasting impact one countless lives.

With Heartfelt Thanks,

Grant & Ashley
